Terms and Conditions for Reelfox
As of 26 October 2026
§ 1 Provider and scope
(1) Reelfox is provided by Noosmedia, owner Ben Biallas, Im Brückfeld 12, 39114 Magdeburg, Germany, phone +49 391 88687150, email hallo@reelfox.de (hereinafter "we" or "Noosmedia").
(2) These Terms apply to all contracts for the use of Reelfox at reelfox.de between us and you, whether you are a consumer or a business. A consumer is any natural person who concludes the contract for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (Section 13 of the German Civil Code, BGB). A business is anyone acting in the exercise of their trade, business or profession when concluding the contract (Section 14 BGB).
(3) Deviating terms of businesses only apply if we expressly agree to them in text form.
§ 2 Definitions
- Platform: the Reelfox web app with studio, library, brand kit, Autopilot and customer area.
- Inputs: everything you enter or upload in Reelfox, such as ideas, scripts, images, logos, photos and instructions.
- Outputs: everything Reelfox generates for you, such as scripts, images, clips, audio tracks, captions and finished videos.
- Credits: units of account with which you pay for services in Reelfox.
- Plan credits: credits you receive every month with a subscription.
- Pack credits: credits you buy separately as a credit pack.
§ 3 Minimum age and account
(1) Reelfox may only be used by persons who are at least 18 years old. You confirm this when registering. Anyone acting for a company must be authorised to represent it.
(2) You need an account to use Reelfox. Your details must be true and up to date. Each person may only create one free account.
(3) Keep your access data secret. If you notice any misuse, please report it to us immediately.
(4) There is no entitlement to conclude a contract.
§ 4 Conclusion of contract
(1) The presentation of plans and packs on the website is not a binding offer but an invitation to submit an offer.
(2) Free account: The contract for free use is concluded when you complete registration and confirm your email address.
(3) Subscription and credit packs: You select a plan or pack in the customer area. On the following order page you see all essential details, in particular the service, price, term and cancellation conditions. There you can check your selection and correct it via "Back to credits & plan" or your browser's back button. By clicking the "Order with obligation to pay" button you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded when payment succeeds and we activate the plan or credits for you.
(4) After the contract is concluded, we send you a contract confirmation by email with the content of the contract, these Terms and the withdrawal information.
(5) You can only buy credit packs while you have a subscription. Purchased pack credits remain usable after the subscription ends, as long as your account exists.
(6) We store the contract text. Your orders, invoices and subscription status are shown in the customer area. The current Terms are available at reelfox.de/en/terms.
(7) The contract can be concluded in German or English. The language in which you placed your order is authoritative.
§ 5 Services
(1) Reelfox uses artificial intelligence to generate short videos and their components from your inputs. The available video types, features and models are those described on the website and in the studio at the time of use.
(2) Outputs of AI models are not predictable. We do not owe that an output matches a particular taste, style or purpose or is free of errors. Your statutory rights in case of defects remain unaffected (§ 13).
(3) We use models from various providers for AI generation and may replace them with equivalent ones if a model is discontinued, deteriorates or becomes more expensive. Before every start we show you how many credits the action costs.
(4) We may change the platform where this is necessary for a valid reason, such as changes in the law, security, discontinuation of a provider or technical development, and no additional costs arise for you. If a change impairs your use more than insignificantly, we will inform you in text form in good time beforehand. In that case consumers may terminate the contract free of charge within 30 days after the information or after the change, whichever is later (Section 327r BGB). We then refund paid but unused services pro rata.
(5) We do not promise any particular level of availability, but we strive to provide Reelfox without interruption as far as possible. Reelfox may be temporarily unavailable in whole or in part for maintenance, security updates and troubleshooting. We carry out maintenance at times of low usage where possible. Outages at providers beyond our control may temporarily restrict individual features. We are only liable for outages in accordance with § 14. Your statutory rights in case of defects (§ 13) remain unaffected.
§ 6 Credits
(1) Actions in Reelfox cost credits. We show the number before every start. When you start, we reserve the credits. They are only finally deducted if the action succeeds. If an action fails for technical reasons for which you are not responsible, we automatically credit them back.
(2) Plan credits are granted at the beginning of each billing month. With annual subscriptions you also receive the credits monthly. Unused plan credits are carried over into the following month and expire at the end of that following month.
(3) Pack credits do not expire and remain usable without a subscription. The credits that expire earliest are always used first, so plan credits before pack credits.
(4) Free credits: When you register you receive 30 credits once. Videos created with free credits carry a visible watermark and have a resolution of 720p.
(5) Credits are not money and not a means of payment. They cannot be paid out, sold or transferred to other accounts. Claims to refunds after withdrawal, termination or by law remain unaffected.
(6) If you upgrade your plan, you immediately receive the difference in monthly plan credits between the old and the new plan.
§ 7 Prices and payment
(1) The prices shown when ordering apply. All prices are final prices and include statutory VAT, currently 19 %.
(2) You pay subscriptions in advance for the respective billing period (month or year), credit packs on purchase. Payment is processed by our payment service provider Stripe. The payment methods shown on the payment page are available.
(3) You receive invoices electronically. You find them in the customer portal.
(4) If a payment fails, we inform you and retry the collection. If payment is still not made after a reminder, we may block access to the paid features until payment has been made. Your videos are retained during this time.
(5) Price changes for running subscriptions only apply if you expressly agree to them. If you do not agree, your subscription continues at the previous price and we may terminate it with ordinary notice under § 8(6).
§ 8 Term and termination
(1) Free account: runs for an indefinite period. You can delete it at any time. We can terminate it with one month's notice.
(2) Monthly subscription: term of one month. It renews for one further month at a time unless you cancel before the end of the current month. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
(3) Annual subscription: term of twelve months. You can cancel effective at the end of the twelve months. If you do not cancel, the subscription automatically switches to a monthly subscription for the same plan at the respective monthly price after the twelve months. It then runs for an indefinite period and can be cancelled at any time effective at the end of the respective billing month.
(4) You can cancel using the "Cancel contracts here" button, which is available on every page of Reelfox and leads to the cancellation page at reelfox.de/en/cancel, in the customer area or by email to hallo@reelfox.de. We confirm your cancellation by email without undue delay, stating its content, the time of receipt and the date on which the contract ends.
(5) Changing plans: An upgrade takes effect immediately. For the rest of the current billing period we charge the difference pro rata. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, for an annual subscription at the end of the paid year. Until then you keep your current plan with all credits, so no refund is made. You can undo a scheduled change in the customer area until then. If you choose an annual subscription as the new plan, it runs for twelve months from the change and afterwards as described in paragraph 3.
(6) We may terminate a subscription with one month's notice to the end of a billing period. If we terminate with ordinary notice, we refund unused pack credits pro rata at their purchase price.
(7) The right of both parties to terminate for good cause remains unaffected. Good cause for us exists in particular if you seriously violate § 10 or repeatedly violate it despite a warning.
(8) When the subscription ends, no new plan credits are added. Plan credits already granted expire on their respective expiry date (§ 6 (2)). Your account remains as a free account until you delete it.
(9) You can delete your account yourself at any time. If a subscription is running, it ends immediately upon deletion. No further charges are made; the paid remaining term is not refunded pro rata. Unused credits are forfeited upon deletion, plan credits as well as pack credits. We point this out to you before deletion. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected. Together with the account we also delete all videos, uploads and brand kit files. Therefore download your videos before deletion.
§ 9 Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are in the withdrawal information. You can also declare withdrawal using the "Withdraw from contract" button.
§ 10 Your obligations and prohibited content
(1) You are responsible for your inputs and for how you use the outputs. You may only use inputs for which you hold the necessary rights and may only use outputs in a way that does not infringe the rights of third parties or the law.
(2) It is prohibited to use Reelfox to generate, upload or distribute content that:
- is sexually explicit, shows nudity or advertises sexual services;
- sexualises or endangers minors or depicts real minors. Clearly fictional child characters in harmless contexts, for example in an explainer video or a fairy tale, are permitted;
- shows a real, identifiable person, imitates their voice or attributes statements to them without their consent. This also applies to public figures;
- incites hatred or violence, demeans people on the basis of origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics, or glorifies terror or violence;
- uses trademarks, logos, characters or other protected content of third parties without authorisation;
- is intended to deceive, such as invented news, fake evidence, re-enacted genuine chats of real persons, misleading advertising, fraud or targeted influence on elections;
- insults, defames, threatens or exposes persons;
- instructs dangerous acts or promotes drugs, weapons or gambling without a licence;
- otherwise violates applicable law.
(3) It is also prohibited to circumvent or remove the screening for prohibited content or the AI labelling, to create multiple free accounts, to scrape or overload the platform automatically, to share access data and to resell access to Reelfox to third parties. Agencies may create videos for their clients.
(4) Presenter videos and photos of persons: Before using a photo or the voice of a person, you must obtain their express consent, including for the planned publication. You confirm this before every presenter video. On request you must prove the consent to us.
(5) Labelling on publication: If a video realistically shows persons, places or events that appear genuine but are AI-generated, you must disclose when publishing that the content was generated with AI (Art. 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). This obligation lies with you, not with us. Also observe the rules of the respective platform on labelling AI content. Every video contains a machine-readable label as AI content in its metadata (C2PA). We do not add a visible "Made with AI" label on our own initiative. You can switch it on in the video maker.
(6) Indemnity: If third parties assert claims against us because you have culpably violated these Terms or the rights of third parties, you shall indemnify us against these claims, including reasonable costs of legal defence.
§ 11 Content screening, reports and measures
(1) The AI models we use work with their providers' safety filters, which can refuse prohibited requests or withhold impermissible images. In addition, we review created projects for violations of § 10, also with the help of a list of search terms. The safety filters may refuse individual requests automatically. A human decides on all other measures under paragraph 2. Details are in the AI notice.
(2) In the event of violations we may, depending on severity, reject an input, block or delete an output, restrict features, temporarily suspend your account or terminate the contract for good cause. We take your legitimate interests into account. No credits are deducted for rejected inputs.
(3) If we restrict content or your account, we inform you and state reasons unless this is excluded by law (Art. 17 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). You can object by email to hallo@reelfox.de. We review your objections and inform you of the result.
(4) Anyone can report illegal content using the reporting form at reelfox.de/en/report or by email to hallo@reelfox.de.
(5) If there are indications of criminal offences that threaten the life or safety of persons, we inform the competent authorities.
§ 12 Rights to inputs and outputs
(1) Your inputs remain yours. You grant us the rights we need to store and process your inputs and pass them to our service providers in order to provide our services. We do not use your inputs and outputs to train AI models. What our AI providers may do under their terms is set out in the Privacy Policy, section 7.2.
(2) Outputs: Insofar as rights to outputs arise that belong to us, we transfer these rights to you or grant you the right, unlimited in time, territory and content, to use, edit and publish the outputs for private and commercial purposes. This also applies after the contract ends.
(3) No protection and no exclusivity: Under the current legal situation, outputs created by AI without formative human creative input are generally not protected by copyright. We therefore cannot warrant that you can prohibit third parties from using similar outputs. Other users may receive similar or identical outputs.
(4) Templates, music and sound effects: Looks, templates, animations, music and sound effects that Reelfox builds into your videos remain the property of us or our licensors. You receive a non-exclusive right, unlimited in time and territory, to use and publish them as part of the respective video. You may not extract music, sound effects or templates from the videos and use or distribute them separately, or register them as your own works with content identification services (for example YouTube Content ID).
(5) Rights of third parties remain unaffected. An output may coincidentally resemble a protected work, a trademark or a real person. Check outputs before publishing them.
(6) Videos made with free credits carry a watermark. You may not remove the watermark or the AI labelling.
(7) We only use your videos for our own advertising, for example in our sample gallery, with your separate consent.
§ 13 Defects
(1) For consumers, the statutory rights for digital products apply (Sections 327 et seq. BGB). We provide the updates necessary to keep the platform in conformity with the contract.
(2) For businesses, the statutory rights in case of defects apply, provided that defects are notified without undue delay in text form.
(3) The fact that an AI output does not meet your expectations is not in itself a defect. If an action fails technically, we credit the credits back under § 6(1).
§ 14 Liability
(1) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and where we have given a guarantee.
(2) In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely. In this case liability is limited to the damage typical for the contract and foreseeable at the time of conclusion.
(3) Otherwise our liability is excluded. The limitations also apply to our vicarious agents.
(4) You are responsible for content you create and publish with Reelfox. We are only liable for blocks or loss of reach caused by platforms in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2.
§ 15 Autopilot
(1) With Autopilot, Reelfox creates videos according to your specifications and on a schedule you set, and provides them for download together with a suggested post text. Credits are deducted for each video as for a video from the video maker (§ 6). If your credits are not sufficient, Autopilot pauses.
(2) Reelfox does not publish any videos for you and does not connect any platform accounts. You download the videos, check them and publish them yourself. You are responsible for all content you publish, including topics and texts suggested by Autopilot. The platforms' terms of use apply, including those on labelling AI content (§ 10(5)).
(3) We do not owe any reach, views or revenue.
§ 16 Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms for the future if the law, case law or the platform changes. For running contracts, amended Terms only apply if you expressly agree to them. We send you the changes for this purpose by email at least six weeks in advance. If you do not agree, your contract continues on the previous terms. We may then terminate it with ordinary notice under § 8(6).
§ 17 Dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
§ 18 Final provisions
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the state in which they have their habitual residence.
(2) If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Magdeburg.
(3) If any provision of these Terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid. The statutory provision takes the place of the invalid provision.
